is an inclusive
and egalitarian havurah (an informal, cooperative congregation) affiliated with
the Jewish Reconstructionist Movement. Our members include about 60 households
and represent widely diverse backgrounds and points of view. For more than 25
years we have grown in our knowledge and understanding of Judaism.
Rabbi Audrey Marcus-Berkman enhances our Judaic learning, helps build and support our community, and enriches our services.
We have shaped a warm, caring community for members of all ages. We invite you to get acquainted. We meet weekly for Shabbat and holidays from September through June, usually in the Social Hall of the Lutheran Church of the Newtons in Newton Centre or at Congregation Mishkan Tefila, 300 Hammond Pond Parkway, Newton (directions).
Our services include a variety of formats: breakfast-study sessions, musical, rabbi led, member led and Friday night potlucks. Please consult our calendar.
