Arguing with God:
Faith, Anger, and Hope in Jewish Tradition
Lutheran Church
This winter, I will be teaching a 3-session course entitled: "Arguing with God: Faith, Anger, and Hope in Jewish Tradition." We will explore together Jewish responses (spanning the millenia) to suffering and to the presence of evil in the world. We will delve into the nature of faith, and the nature of religious belief in a world in which so much suffering exists.
I will send out further details, including selected reading, soon, but for now please save the following dates and times:
- Wednesday, February 9 7:30-9:00
- Wednesday, February 16 7:30-9:00
- Wednesday, March 2 7:30-9:00

If you plan to attend the dinner, contact the HBT office (617-323-0486) no later than February 9. Information on their Friday night events can be found at: www.templehbt.org/html/files/dinner2010.pdf
