Members Meeting June 7 Elections and Budget Please make sure to attend so that we have a quorum to do business. We have two major items on the agenda: election of officers for the coming year, and approval of a budget. June 26-28 Retreat Watch your emails for the sign-up form for the 2009 Retreat at the Craigville Conference Center on Cape Cod. You don’t want to miss a Shabbat study session with Rabbi Audrey and a discussion on Sunday morning. You also don’t want to miss schmoozing, walks on the beach, bike rides, or snoozing in the sun, as well as our Saturday night ice cream from 4 Seas. It’s a wonderful chance to be together. Our annual Friday bike ride will be led by Henry and Madelyn Morris. The cost this year will be $204 per person (our actual cost). The subsidized cost is $150 per person. You are encouraged to pay whatever is appropriate to you. Please send in your forms and checks – we need to give Craigville a count. Ideas and offers to help are welcome. Thanks, Charlotte Swartz. Shir Madness Performance Shir Madness will be playing on the steps of the Vilna Shul, from noon to 1:30, Sunday June 7. The Vilna Shul is at 18 Phillips Street, on the north side of Beacon Hill, just one block south of Cambridge Street. The band is playing as part of the Beacon Hill Art Walk, a fine excuse to spend a Sunday afternoon in Boston. The sun will be out, but if it's raining, the band will be a few steps inside the Shul. Give a listen! Richard Yospin
