Intercongregational Senate Candidate’s Night

November 17 at
Bethel AME Church, 215 Forest Hills St., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130

We are invited to a U.S. Senatorial Accountability Forum on Sunday November 15th, 5:00 pm, Jamaica Plain. This event is similar to the Newton Mayoral event held last month, and will be attended by congregations from the greater Boston area. A major focus of the meeting will relate to national banking policy.

Our help is needed to make this action as successful as the Newton one. The Bank Usury and Housing Team is developing a set of questions for the Senatorial candidates, one of which will be related to "10 Percent is Enough" and caps on interest rates and fees, what kind of debt and with what banks our congregants have been hit.

Contact Peter Barrer (pbarrer@verizon.net) if you are interested in carpooling.
