High Holidays

We are planning in-person services for high holidays that will be led by members and guest leader, Meredith Reiches.

Unfortunately, because there are still concerns about Covid, we are limiting attendance to members and partners/children/parents of members or former members.

Please check the calendar for opportunities to attend events post-High Holidays. We look forward to observing the High Holidays together next year.

High Holiday Covid Policy

Sep. 6, 2022

  1. Registration for High Holidays is required. You can register by contacting High Holidays Coordinator Joel Reisman (jreisman@shirhadash-ma.org). If for any reason you are not able to register in advance, you are still welcome to attend and we will take care of registration at the gate.

  2. Masks are required for indoor services for all participants over age 2, with the exception that service leaders may be unmasked while leading provided they have taken a rapid antigen test beforehand with a negative result. Well-fitting N95, KN95 or KF94 masks are recommended.

  3. Masks are not required for outdoor events.

  4. Full vaccination status, including booster, is required for those eligible when participating in our programs. A fully vaccinated individual is one who:

a) is two weeks past completing the full initial course of vaccines

AND

b) is one week past receiving a booster of any type, once eligible for a booster.

  1. Please do not attend services if you have any symptoms of an acute potentially contagious illness such as fever, sore throat, new cough, or diarrhea.
